What I learned in Team Granite
visualization to do at home:
1. Set a Short Term Goal - Decide on something you would like to achieve, or a challeng you would like to overcome.
:: Get a 90 Average ::
2. Create a clear idea or picture - Create a picture in your head or a feeling of the situation exactly as you want it. Imagine yourself in the situation. Include as many details as you can.
:: I see the report card coming, I flip to the second page and see a 90 average ::
3. Focus on it often - bring your mental picture to mind often, both casually throughout the day or when you have quiet moments by yourself. This way it becomes part of your life.
:: 90 90 90 90 90 90 90 90 90 ::
4. Be positive about your goal - be encouraging to yourself. Make strong, positive statements to yourself, that it can come true or is now coming to you. See yourself achieving it.
:: I can get a 90, I can get a 90, I can get a 90, I can get a 90 ::
hahaha.. hilarious.. meh.. today's team granite was fun.. it was pretty much just relaxation and visualization... a good one was when we had to sit and close our eyes and we had to take a thought that prevented us from doing well, something that was a hindrance and picture a purple flame approaching us. It got closer until it was right in front of us and we had to picture it wrapping the purple flame around us and feel warm in it. Then we had to transform our thought into strength. It was pretty cool because I could actually picture it. Best one though was the last part where we were lying down.. All i heard was "relax your body, picture yourself in a white room, with white walls, and there is a white screen and a white chair..." then POOF! i was asleep.. hahahahaha.. meh.. very productive night..
