let us recap the week shall we?
MONDAY
move in day..i had so much stuff that i had to bring 2 cars with me. but, to my surprise, i wasn't the only one who brought alot! lol.. infact, i didn't bring enough. Moved in, bought frosh kits, yearbooks, phone plan, etc. then i unpacked. i love my mom! she unpacked everything for me and made my closet nice and organized! lol.. my mom, lemuel and i went for lunch after that and then we went back to the rez. more organizing for my mom, more sleeping for lemuel, as i interacted with my room mates. They are tracy, christina and anna. kevin and mike came over for that too. at around 5 ish, we went to the elgin field to learn cheers. insane cheers! too much i would say?? and kinda weird for us to scream NIPLE! all the time! lol... we headed down to the opening ceremonies where there were more cheers as each rez and each faculty did their own cheers for all the frosh. it was fun at first, then it dragged on and kept going and i got a headache. a hypnotist came after and it was wicked! like those people were actually hypnotized! kinda scary actually, like there was some sort of exorcism involved or what not.. LOL! i was exhuasted after that so i went back to my rez.
TUESDAY
woke up to banging on my door by my floor dons with toilet plungers! aiyeee! we all wore out bright orange shirts! GO ELGIN! meh.. did rez activities all day which wasn't really anything. We stayed at the rez a lot coz we were exhausted. quite honestly, i can't remember what happened this day. I know pca people came over to my rez and we hung out there for a while. graffiti dance party at 9. that was wicked! the music was awesome and we just had to sign everyone's shirt! it was awsome till around 12. then it got gross so me and emily left.
WEDNESDAY
faculty day! GO SOCIAL SCIENCE! we had this intro thing which was awesome! social sci does rule the world! LOL.. all the sophs were crazy!!! soo much energy. there was this super frosh competition which was funny! this guy made a truck out of cardboard and led us in some weird cheers. and there was this other guy who stripped in front of a couple thousand people right down to his boxers. then he mooned us! aiyee... kinda gross.. another guy took his shirt off and poured chocolate milk all over him then rolled around in it. meh... kinda dragged on after too. there was a charity bbq after that but the food was horrible and we stayed in line for like an hour and a half for a burger and pop. not worth it. we listened to some profs introduce themselves then there was this competition thing but i was soo tired i went back to my rez and napped. jer called so we met him. they came over and hung out with sam and their friends before me and tracy went to the grocery with the rest of the rez! lol... i love the grocery. need to go back. at night, there was an acdc cover band but that kinda sucked and i lost my friend jess so i just left...kinda got gross coz all these people starting smoking pot and grinding and what not... do not like to be around that.
THURSDAY
first day of class!!! nothing much.. class is class.. interesting! can't wait to get into the normal routine of classes. hung out with emily which was fun! lotsa catching up and walking around.. LOL.... meh.. nothing much.. there was a carnival at night.. but that was soo boring! went back to our rez... and watched hot chick with emily and jess... OOOH! i forgot!!! OC!!! ahhh! thank goodness jess had a tv! lol... we went to her room and watched.. oh my gosh.. how dramatic already! LOL!!! love it love it love it!
FRIDAY
more classes... nothing special.. i love my business class though! its soo fun! lol... herm... hung out with emily then i went back to my rez coz i wasn't feeling well. slept the entire afternoon.. until it was time for the foam party which wasn't really anything either. the foam was soo little and it was only at this small corner which was jam packed with people! ugh... more gross couples making out and what not plus so much more drunk people! left it at 12 with em... herm... nothing much
SATURDAY
slept till 1!! aiyee! lol... i was soo tired! and now i made my own breakfast and im going to go do my own laundry! LOL!!!
fun fun week so far.. but i can't wait till things get back to normal...
